The time capsule sits on a pedestal in front of the entrace to the Calexico city hall. The city hall building is on Heber Ave, close to the downtown area of the city.
The plaque reads: "This time capsule dedicated to the citizens of Calexico is to be opened in 2025." On top of this is the seal of the city of Calexico.
