Wat Nikorn Chanaram is one of the larger wats in the small city and provincial capital of Pattani, in the far south of Thailand. In the Wat grounds is a services building, with storage for various items used in the Wat, and a workroom. Above the entrance is a date. The year given is 2534 in the Buddhist Era, which translates into 1991 in the Common Era. The Wat is easily found along one of the major roads of the city.
