The depicted well reconstructed railway station of the Turkish State Railways (TCCD - Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet Demiryollari) you can find in a small town Fevzipasa located close to the Syrian borders.
Fevzipasa is known as a railroad town, thanks to its position on the important railroad junction (this line was build and opened in 1935). The railroad from west (via one of the longest tunnels of Turkish railroads) merge with the line traverses Amik plains from north to south to capital od Syria - Damascus. Fevzipasa railroad station is an important station and many Fevzipasa residents make their living as railroad employees. Several express trains use this station, for example important Eufrat Express (FIRAT EKSPRESI) which is connecting Elazig and Adana, or express train from Iran to Syria.
