A monument to remember the meridian of El Hierro, the origin of longitudes in the mapping of various European countries until the mid-nineteenth century.
To get to the monument, take the unpaved road towards the Orchilla lighthouse for about 3,8 km from the paved road along the western coast. Turn right after a sharp bend to the right. Up till here you can get by regular car. Start hiking from here, unless you drive a 4x4. Enjoy the volcanic scenery!
