The church dates to the 14th century but has an 18th century spire. There is a large mural on the northern aisle wall depicting St Christopher and dating to about 1500.

The interesting font dates to 1739 and is constructed from Derbyshire marble. Embedded in the stone are some fossils, if you look closely. The marble is grey, crinoidal limestone and the bowl stands on a stem and octagonal base.

Also in the wall behind the font is the remains of a small 14th century piscina.
Approximate Age of Artefact: 1739
