What started with a handful of volunteers in 1990 in an old school bus garage has become a busy, modern facility on the banks of Triplett Creek. In many communities you put all of your recyclables into one container, and trust that someone else will sort it and make sure it gets recycled. At this center, there is a drive-thru with bins for separating your own recyclables. Recycling Center workers then double check materials before they go to buyers.
