The dog park features a 4 foot high chain-link fence surrounding the area, a gazebo for dog owners to sit and watch their pets play, 2 waste bag dispensers, a tube for dogs to crawl through, and a ramp to climb.

A "Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Party and Contest" is held here annually at Halloween time, with prizes in various categories.
