Luther is a town of about 1100 population. It is a rural area, with a small downtown that has few businesses. Most residents commute to cities which surround Luther.
On the south side of the town at the corner of S.W. Cedar and S. 8th Streets stands this water tower which is painted white with the name Luther in black letters. This is a cylindrical container with four legs.
