The Eureka City Cemetery is located about 1 mile west of Eureka, just off Highway 6. Established in 1894, it encompasses 12.6 acres, with 5000 burial plots. There have been about 2500 burials with the first being in 1895 and the last recorded in 2000.

Description of Memorial: The Memorial is on top of a rock pedestal. It is located in the southeast corner of the cemetery, near the entrance. The cemetery is in an historic mining town in the west desert of Utah, so it is not the typical lawn covered cemetery.
