So what do you do when you have a beautiful Georgian-Colonial style trapezoid shaped building with paned glass, gabled windows on all sides except the rear? What if the rear is highly visible because the lot behind the building is empty? You could, a great expense, construct matching windows or you could commission the painting of a complementary mural.
This mural is so well done that as you approach it from a distance on Haven Street you must look carefully, or at an acute angle, before you realize its a painting. The rear of the building is painted red and black to match the colors of the other sides. Nine paned windows are painted on the black surface that perfectly match in style and size the real windows.
