"St. Anne's Episcopal Church is a historic parish in Middletown, Delaware, that was created in 1705. The present parish church is located at 15 E. Green Street, while Old St. Anne's Church and its graveyard are located at 105 Old Saint Anne’s Church Road in Middletown. " From wiki. This church has many gravestones so be careful not to disturb them. There is parking on Old St. Anne's Church Road or at the Cricklewood shoping center. There is a historical marker here too. Please do not come here during the night as it is closed. The chuch is still in use today and many people come to pray. "As early as 1705 a log chapel was established at Appoquinimy' by the S.P.G. with the Rev. Thomas Jenkins appointed its first missionary, 1708. Queen Anne of England, for whom the Church was named, is said to have been a patron. This Church was built 1765-1771 through efforts of the Rev. Philip reading, buried here in 1778."
