Here is a one of a kind Post Office for you to visit. The only remaining U.S. Post Office Railway Car in existence.

There used to be hundreds of railway post offices but as trucks became more plentiful and plans started flying the government closed them down as no longer needed. But as history would have it the Oil Creek and Titusville Railroad was born 25 years ago and with it was the re-birth of one last Railroad Post Office car. The car has it's own canceling stamp that is only used for mail sent on the train. The coordinates I am giving are for the home depot of the train where the Post Office car can be found when it is not running the tracks. The best way to find out when the train will be home is to follow this link (
visit link) If the train is not at home when you get there you can always do some other waymarks around town and just listen for the whistle. At the time this waymark is being written up there are no less then 12 other waymarks right here on the property of the OC & T Railway so have fun and enjoy yourself and your unique experience.

Visit Instructions:
To post a log to an existing U.S. Post Office waymark, you will need to post a picture of the front of the building, with the name of the post office in the background if that is possible.
A description of your Post Office is required, such as when it was built, history, outstanding or unique features, population of the city or town, just do a quick internet search and find an interesting bit of information about the city or town and add it to the long description, to make it more interesting. Even just adding in the population of the area can give others an idea of how many people this post office serves. This description should be at least three sentences.
If your Post Office has any unusual or unique features that you feel others would enjoy viewing, additional pictures are always welcome.
Including your gps device in the picture is not necessary, but wouldn't be cause for disapproval, as long as all other details of your log are acceptable.
