Norris cemetery was for the town of Norris which will eventually become the town of Coleridge. The cemetery is about a mile and a quarter for the old Norris town site. Norris moved after the railroad didn't go by the town and it along with other small towns became the town of Coleridge.
There are a variety of graves in the cemetery, mostly young children because diphtheria was going around in the 1880's. One of the most interesting graves is for a girl who died just short of her 18th birthday. The grave is in the shape of a tree stump and stands about 6 feet 5 inches in height with a lot of detail made into it.
