This Cairn is dedicated by the Citizens of the Town of Ajax in memory of all who served on H.M.S. Ajax
The Cairn has a second plaque in memory of those who made the supreme sacrifice on behalf of freedom. 1914-1918, 1939-1945, and Korea
Dedicated 8 November, 1987.
The Cairn is set in a small water feature and during the summer months water flows over the limestone rocks to a rock pond with grasses and rushes.
