Great little city park with a lot to see and a river going by but watch out for the Lion.

Parking is available just off of Seneca St. on the north side of the bridge or at the nearby hotel or McDonalds. Address for the park is not the true address as no one not even the local police could tell me the address so just look for the intersection of Elm and Seneca Streets near the Vets Memorial Bridge and you can't miss the park.
I have to admit that this lion even with his mouth open all the way does not really look all that viscous but the fountain he contains will shoot water all over you if you stand in the wrong spot. As part of the king Lions domain you will find a Memorial for all Vets from any branch of the services, a bandshell, several living statues and right next to the park is the confluence of the Allegheny River and much used Oil Creek. After you have a drink why don't you just take a seat and enjoy the park.
