Located in downtown Oil City PA the bandshell has hosted numerous concerts including concerts during the Oil Festival the third week of July every year.
The bandshell is dedicated to Carl S. Brozeski who was born Sept. 29, 1923 and left us for the big stage in the sky Dec. 1, 1992.
The stage has full electric service including overhead lighting in several colors. The shell received an updated roof last year and appears to be ready to march into the future with very little work by the crew that takes care of it.
Also in the park you will find a Military monument dedicated to all the man and woman of have served in all the branches of our military.
Several living statues and a man eating lion that just dares you to take a drink from his gaping maw.
At the far corner of the park near the parking lot you will find the confluence of the Allegheny River and Oil Creek.
After checking out the wonders of the park you may want to take a seat on one of the numerous benches and watch as the river flows lazily by.
