Mercur is a historical hard rock mining ghost town located at in Tooele County, Utah, USA. Its elevation from sea level is approximately 2,042.
The cemetery is located along the road to Mercur up on a hillside. It is a little bit of a hike. I cannot imagine how they had to transport people to the graves. The cemetery sign says it was used from 1894-1915. It is a nice little cemetery and most of the graves have fences around them. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the place - oh, and watch out for snakes!!!
