This bench mark is in Newport, MN just off of 12th st. and Hastings ave. The benchmark is on a raised cement slab about 1.5 ft. off the ground. This slab is the beginning of the southern most handrail for the foot bridge over Hwy 61. It is 45 ft. south of the southern curb of 12th st. and 110 ft east of the eastern curb of Hastings ave.
