Fountain at Bundesplatz - Bern, Switzerland - Fountains on Waymarking.com

This fountain was built in 2004 when the Federal Palace of Switzerland was renovated.

It is a series of 26 fountains, one for every canton of Switzerland. You can walk through them and they are hardly visible when they are not on. Sometimes they are quiet for a while, but sooner or later, one or some or all of these fountains go off. There is no clear pattern for that. Sometimes they are all active, sometimes it's one after the other, one every second for a couple of minutes. Sometimes the activity just seems chaotic.

In summer kids love to run through them.
