Wabash, Indiana, has taken pride in honoring those who have served their country. Veteran's memorials abound. The Grand Army of the Republic was formed after the Civil War and dissolved when the last living veteran of the Civil War died. This tree stands in testament to this proud organization who was founded on the principles of Fraternity, Charity, Loyalty.
