The Hartford & New Haven Railroad--Freight Depot was built in the mid-nineteenth century, the exact date is not known but is thought to be in the 1870's. The frieght depot is long rectilinear shaped masonry building located on the east side of the railroad tracks. The building is in good condition. The building is now used as an art center.
