Letchworth State Park Benchmark - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

The disk, a US Army Corps of Engineers disk #13942 (2007) is a survey mark disk mounted in concrete flush with the ground. The disk is located in Letchworth State Park on a walking trail almost due N of the High Banks Recreation Area, and is about 150 ft. SW of the "Dam! What a view!" Geocache (GC206ZR). To find the mark most simply, go to the observation deck for WP 1 of GC206ZR, and follow the trail SW from there. The observation deck is located to the W about 300-400 ft. from Park Road. Parking is available at the Highbanks Recreation Area.
