At 3820 ft. Couchsachraga is the smallest of the 46ers. It is known since 1953 that it is not a 4000 ft, but it was maintained on the list. It is now really the 55th on the ADK list.
Couchsachraga is arguably the most isolated of the 46 as well as being the wettest. So do come prepared. During the same day hiking, you can climb to Santanoni, Couchsachraga and Panther. This will be a 15.25 mile journey (24.4 Km).
If you are coming from Santanoni (WMC2AR), you follow the trail to Times Square located at N44 05.712 W74 08.049. Then take the trail on your left, follow it on the way down to the muddy pond and on the way up to Couchsachraga. And there you are!
