Frank Stanley Beveridge was the founder of Stanley Home Products. His estate was donated and to the City of Westfield with an endowment for its maintenance and is now Stanley Park. The is a plaque honoring him in the rose garden. It is inscribed with Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's words.

The inscription reads:

Stanley Park is open to the public from 7:00 am until dusk daily (1/2 hour before sunset), from the First Saturday in May to the last Sunday in November.

There is no admission charge to the Park. Pedestrians can enter all year around.
