This relatively modern, probably C18th or C19th, goblet-shaped octagonal font is towards the rear of the church and the tower arch. It is of limestone mounted on an octagonal pillar and base, on a single step plinth. There is a large step to the west for the officiating minister. There is a text in Latin inscribed round the champhered top and four symbols of the trinity on the bowl. The cover is of octagonal pyramidal form in wood, with tracery on all faces, surmounted by a sphere.
The inscription is:
IN NOMINE PATRIS ET FILII ET SPIRITUS SANCTI + LAUS DEO + AMEN +
'In the name of the Father and Son and the Holy Spirit + Praise God + Amen'
