Located at the Civilian Conservation Corps log cabin visitor information center, also known as the R.J. Houle Visitor Information Center. This is a great pit stop, you can see the CCC log cabin, walk the grassy areas, take a photo with the Whispering Giant Native American sculpture and more. While you are enjoying this great area, take note of the rustic wooden side to the north.
The sign reads:
The landscaping and flower beds were designed and constructed by Don Bolen, former maintenance engineer for Lake County. The Lake County Board of Commissioners recognize Don for his efforts and dedication to these projects.
