The Petawawa Public Library continues to grow. It employs full-time and part-time staff and continues to rely on the help of loyal volunteers to serve over 7000 active members. The collection still provides access to books, movies, music and Public Internet stations for all ages.
The library catalogue is now available online and a variety of electronic research and hobby databases may also be accessed by members inside and outside the library. In addition to Children’s programming, programs for Adults have been added. Most recently, the library has undertaken a project to digitize its Heritage Collection consisting of photos, documents and audio recordings which are now freely accessible online.
The library is open 6 days a week but 24/7 access is available for most online resources.

There are six Public Internet Stations for Adults (16 years old and up), two Stations for Teens (13-15 years old) and two filtered Stations for Children (12 and under). You must log in using your Petawawa Public Library card number. Non-residents will be granted time on the computers by presenting valid photo ID.
You can use your personal laptop/notebook computer. Wireless access to the Internet is available within the library. You may also connect to one of the Internet cable outlets located in the floor.
