The primarily colors of this barn quilt stand out against this traditional white barn. The farm is located on Lake Avenue, but the quilt block is on the back of the barn so it can only be viewed from Hwy. 75. Unfortunately there’s a big stretch of bean field between the road and the farm. Although it's not yet listed on the offical Plymouth County barn quilt list, it's worth keeping an eye out for it.

This quilt caught my eye when returning home from a meeting in Sioux City. I'm not sure if it's a recent addition or if I just haven't noticed it before.
