Bäckerei Schmid is located in the pedestrian zone in the medieval center of Bad Säckingen. This bakery is owned and operated by the family Schmid. It is now the 4th generation that runs the business and in 2011 they have their 100th anniversary.
They concentrate in simple high quality products without bells and whistles. The recipe for their favorite bread has not been changed for over 90 years. They also have great chocolate candy, but for quality reasons these are only produced in Winter and Spring.
