This great old fire engine has surely seen its share of fast-paced excitement over its lifetime, but now it appears to travel at parade speed. On the side are painted the words to advertise Granite’s big yearly celebration: “Annual Threshing Bee third weekend in July.” Until then it sits quietly under the protection of an open sided shelter.
