This weathervane was bought as a gift from a loyal drinker and friend of Richard Yuengling and was hand made out of copper in 2000 and placed on the NE front of the brewery!

The solid cooper hand made Flying Eagle grasping the freedom arrow was given to Richard Yuengling by a loyal friend and connoisseur of YUENGLING LAGER! He gave it to Mr. Yuengling in a ceremony in the museum & Gift shop on Feb 13 2000 It Cost $3,500.00 at the time!
It is mounted in the N.E. corner front of the brewery in the City of POTSVILLE,PA.17901
YUENGLING BREWERY is "AMERICA'S OLDEST BREWERY" and Oldest continuosly operated brewery by a single family! On this Spot since 1829; 177 YEARS!
