Het monument aan de Wijsterseweg in Hoogeveen is een grijs marmeren gedenksteen, geplaatst op een voetstuk.
Het monument aan de Wijsterseweg in Hoogeveen is opgericht ter nagedachtenis aan drieënveertig burgers die op 5 augustus 1944 zijn omgekomen toen de trein waarin zij zaten onder vuur werd genomen door Amerikaanse vliegtuigen.
