Evesham is located on the River Avon, and every July there is a festival held on the river bank. There is a live stage, food available, craft stalls, stands from various local organisations, boat parade, fireworks and much more over the weekend.

Evesham is located on the River Avon, and every July there is a festival held on the river bank. There is a live stage, food available, craft stalls, stands from various local organisations, boat parade, fireworks and much more over the weekend.
The Festival website on www.eveshamriverfestival.co.uk will give a detailed list of events going on, most of which are on the Saturday. The highlight is usually the boat parade and fireworks Saturday night.
The GPS coordinates above will get you to the middle of the site. The exact layout varies slightly from year to year but you should be pretty much in front of the stage.
For this weekend a lot of people come to Evesham. You will usually find local B&Bs all fully booked, as are most camp sites and caravan parks. Indeed the local sports pitches and the like all get turned into additional camp sites for the weekend.
