Two large mausoleums are located directly west of the Redwood Memorial Mortuary in West Jordan. On the northeast corner of the south mausoleum, this relief art sculpture of Abraham Lincoln, with an inscription from Abraham Lincoln, which reads:
I CANNOT CONCEIVE HOW ANYONE COULD LOOK UP INTO THE HEAVENS AND SAY THERE IS NO GOD
This from a larger quote attributed to Abraham Lincoln:
I can see how it might be possible for someone to look around on earth and not believe in God, but I cannot conceive how anyone could look up into the heavens and say there is no God.
I found this quote many times on the internet, but could not find a website that documented exactly when and where this quote occurred.
