This old flood gate is located at the border of Újpest (district of Budapest)
you can easily reach it because you can parking next ot the sluice gate.
It's function is to control the water level of the Szilas-stream.
It is really necessary because the stream is connected directly to the Danube.
That is why the gate is well maintened.
