Until June 13, 1942 lived family Ornstein in the house located on main square of Kolín - Charles square. Hermína Orndteinová - grandmother (born 28.03.1880), her son Judr. Karel Ornstein (born 27.08.1901), his wife Rita Ornsteinová (born 15.09.1913) and their daughter Eva Ornsteinová (born 11.07.1938) were deported on June 13,1942 by trasport number AAd-723 from Kolín to Terezín. On ODecember 18, 1943 the whole family was deported by trasport No. Ds-1914 from Terezín to extermination camp in Oswiecim (Poland) and there they was in the same day murdered.
