Skew - placed or turned obliquely (slanting or sloping) twisted to one side. Another word they kept using was voussoir - a stone in an arch shaped to fit its curve. So if I got it correctly, this bridge is built on a slant with all the stones slanting also. As I walked under and through this bridge, with 3 arches, I just couldn't get over the work and planning and the talent it took to make this bridge. It's not in the best part of town but the bridge is worth seeing.
The bridge is a railroad bridge with a street going through it and on either side a place for people to walk.
