This grove of 13 trees was planted in 1948, so it is difficult to determine which of the trees are the original ones. This area is near The Colorado College and is alongside Monument Creek.
The plaque reads "THESE THIRTEEN TREES HONORING THE FOUNDERS OF THE ORIGINAL COLONIES AND THIS ROCK SYMBOLIZING PLYMOUTH ROCK, WERE PLACED HERE BY THE COLORADO SPRINGS CHAPTER N.S.D.A.C. 1948
