The church of St Nicolas is open to the public every day during the day. This church is well worth the visit is a church stood on what is now known as Bookham crossroads. In the Domesday Book, 1086 it is noted that "the Abbot of Chertsey held Bocheham" and that there was church in the village.
The church has many stained glass windows, showing saints and Jesus himself. In recent years, 'friends of St Nicolas' have raised funds for the upkeep of the church including three of the stained glass windows.
