St Lawrence is Parish church of Morden and is a Church of England place of worship Built in 1636.
It is thought to incorporate earlier workand is built in the Late Gothic style.
It is also a Grade I listed building.
The Lych Gate is undated but the carvings and oak panels listing the habitants of Morden lost in the 1914-19 war were probably added in the 1920s. I could not confirm an exact date.
The lych gate recently had some renovation work done to it including a new roof.
If you are lucky you may be able to park in the lay by outside the church or the car park of the pub next door. Alternatively you will find a bus stop outside and opposite. Get the 80, 93 or 293 from Morden Underground Station or walk about 1k from Morden South railway station. The church is the busy A24 London Road.
