At the side of the railroad tracks just south of Sunnyside Road there is a grain elevator and metal storage silos. Grain from the nearby farms is brought here to be loaded onto rail cars for shipment. The elevator is used to unload the farm trucks, then store the grain until the railroad car is ready then load the grain from storage silos to the waiting train.
