The 2-Row Pick Planter made by John Deere in the mid 1940's was used to plant potatoes on the farmlands of Idaho. It was designed to be pulled by a 25 horse powered tractor. A seat on the rear is missing, it was there so a rider could watch as the planter dropped the potatoes into the furrows created by the machine.

This old farm equipment can be viewed from dawn to dusk at the Potato Museum located on Main Street.
