It is rather surprising to see such a large mushroom, sprouting alongside the highway!

This farm sells morel mushrooms and has a website that shows a photo of the mushroom illuminated. I did not see the 'shroom at night, but no doubt it is a glorious sight, and I regret that I missed the opportunity.
The Giant Morel Mushroom is a must-see sight, if you are visiting Nevada, Missouri. It is located 3 miles north of Nevada on State Road M, which parallels Hwy 71. You can easily view it from Hwy 71. The mushroom is about 30 feet tall.
There is a dairy farm nearby. (Make you rown conclusions.)
