Work started on installing a new spiritual garden in 2006 and it was developed over a period of time.
There are Celtic style prayer circles set in the paths with benches nearby to encourage quiet contemplation. Each of the benches has extracts from the bible inscribed on them.
The birdbath was installed in 2007. In 2008 the garden was affiliated with the Quiet Gardens Trust. This organisation encourages the setting up of quite gardens that promote contemplation of the Christian Gospel.
The birdbath is at the back of the church.
