The fountain is located on the king's place (Königsplatz) in Schwabach, Germany, Bayern. It is called "Pferdebrunnen". This means "horse fountain" because there are several horse's heads on it.

The fountain is located on the king's place (Königsplatz) in Schwabach, Germany, Bayern. It is called "Pferdebrunnen". This means "horse fountain" because there are several horse's heads on it.

At Easter time this fountain is beautifully decorated.

The horse fountain was built in 1823 and was originally used as a watering place for horses and other animals.

Nearby the fountain is the city hall and another fountain (Schöner Brunnen/beautiful fountain).
