This bridge and marker are fairly typical of what you find in Camden County. All of our bridges have date stones and have names based on a series of names and numbers. Most are also made of concrete and span these small lakes and creeks which seem to abound in our county. This one is in good shape and has wide sidewalks on either end to accommodate pedestrians and fishermen. Parking is available right on the side of the road next to the bridge.

The date stone reads:

County
Of
Camden
Oscar Moore
Director of Board and Director
Engineers Highways & Bridge Dept.
S. Herbert Taylor
County Engineer
Bridge No. 4C-25
1952

Date built or dedicated as indicated on the date stone or plaque.: 1952
