Okmulgee's downtown area is an Historic District, and this building at 401 E. 6th Street is one of the contributing buildings.
It is occupied by Ausbrook Car & Truck Sales and Rental. There are many antique items on display here behind large windows on the ground floor...items such as vintage gas pumps, signs, children's toys and such. On the second floor exterior walls, there are service station signs, and these two Coca-Cola signs - the type that would have been displayed on service stations in the past. One is a round sign just reading "COCA-COLA". The second is a rectangular sign with a shield bottom that reads "DRINK COCA-COLA".
