Artist Carl Homstad painted this wonderful scene of the city’s 1908 Chautauqua building. The mural, painted in 2007, is located on the east side of the Sac City Liquor Store on Main Street (Hwy. 20) on the east edge of town. There is plenty of parking space to view the mural; the historical Chautauqua building itself is located next to the fairgrounds just to the south.
