The bright yellow and green of “Corn and Beans” shows up from the road, even though the quilt block is partially hidden by bushes. It would show up better when the foliage is not in leaf. This is one of more than 55 barn quilts found in the Sac County area. It was painted by Jackson’s 4-H Club. “Corn and Beans” is located on the south side of 370th Street (D59) and is listed as #23 on the Sac County Barn Quilt map.
