This simple memorial is located in the center of the Historic Belton Cemetery in the Northeast corner of the main intersection. There is a very small brick walkway where the a five-foot highly polished black marble slab stands upon a rough grey granite base. The Great Seal of the United States is atop the seals of the five Armed Forces.
Below the Seals is the inscription:
In Honor and Memory of Those Who Served in Defense of Their Country so that All May Enjoy Freedom
All Gave Some - Some Gave All
Duty - Honor - Country
The Memorial is flanked on either side by trees with other landscaping being put in. The Memorial also includes a 25foot unlighted flagpole, which makes the location of the Memorial highly visible.
